Objectives

Objects of the Trust

1. Medical Relief

To open, establish, construct, maintain, run and develop, improve and extend hospitals, medical training institutions and other centers for rendering medical aid, medical library, and research, Medico Social Service in any of the systems of medicines for the relief of poor and general.
To provide, sponsor medicines, medical consumables to poor and general.
To propagate the medical knowledge among the general public and to create, improve, medical awareness among the general public.

2. Education and other Objects

To establish and / or run in India educational institutions and / or to contribute to such existing institutions.
To establish in India. Libraries, reading rooms and / or to contribute such existing institutions.
To secure scholarships from foreign countries for Indian students and to sponsor suitable candidates for such scholarships.
To grant scholarships and prizes to deserving, intelligent, meritorious, poor and needy persons.
To create health consciousness among the public at large and for the purpose to establish health centers, institutions etc., and / or to contribute to such institutions.
To provide assistance to the existing environmental projects including social forestry.
To promote and encourage sanitary conditions in the backward areas of the country.
To promote and encourage cultural activities by exchange of scholarships and students from other courtiers to bring about friendly relations with other countries and groups irrespective of race, caste, creed, colour, relations, political and social philosophies. It is however, clarified that no income / property of the Trust shall be applied for this purpose outside India without the permission of the Central Board of Direct Taxes as provided under section 11 of the income Tax Act, 1961. The activities of the Trust shall not be carried outside India.
To purchase or take on lease plots, lands or builds or to receive as gift or Donations of Land and or building or to construct, maintain, renovate, repair, takeover, subsides building for running spiritual centers, hostels, student hostels, dharamshtalas, sarais, ashrams, rest houses, community kitchens, community halls, halls meant for conducting discourses, debates, lectures, etc., for of cost or for a nominal rent for maintenance.
To promote research by establishing Research Institutions; laboratories, hospitals, tool rooms, Workshops, arranging debates, conferences or providing financial assistance to students, scholars or to institutes, laboratories, etc.,
To provide aid to poor and needy persons by way of financial help or arranging desired facilities.
To provide free or subsidized accommodation and assistance to travelers.
To provide food to travelers and deserving persons.
To provide food, clothing, accommodation and financial help to people effected by natural calamities, war, riots etc.,
To promote Indian culture.
To create Self – Help groups and to help them in generating the income for their livelihood.
To publish and / or distribute literature, magazines, etc., for enhancement of general knowledge of the public at large.
To run social projects beneficial to the society at large.
Including reliefs to the poor, education and advancement of any other object of general public utility not involving the carrying on any activities of profit.
To accept donations, grants, presents and other offerings and to deal with the same for the purpose of the Trust.
To obtain financial help from bank(s), financial institutions, co-operative societies and such persons as the trustees may deem fit.
To amalgamate with other charitable institutions running in India or elsewhere in the world with the aim of performing the above said objects and takeover similar institutions.
To create general awareness about the use of computers and internet among the student community at large and for this purpose establish computer facilities to schools with internet connections.
To create general awareness about the laws of State/ country among the student community at large.

3. Other Ancilliary Objects

To purchase, construct, maintain develop, social utility halls for the benefit of society in general and to use those halls for the declared objects of the Trust.
To spend money, to organize funds and spend for the purpose of feeding poor at the time of natural disasters.
To feed poor on days of national importance and social importance.
To open, construct, establish, maintain and to run maintenance home for old age people and for the destitute.
To provide, supply food, cloth and shelter for the purposes of achieving the above object.
To open, construct, establish maintain and to run orphanage home for destitute or family and society.
To carry out such other objects in furtherance of and in support of above referred objects.

The name of the Trust shall be “MEDINDIA CHARITABLE TRUST”
